Celebrate

I wanted to try making a background with Lovely Wishes.  I'm very pleased with this one.  The sentiment is a die from the Sale-a-Brations catalog.

A Little Bird Told Me

A card on Pinterest by Su Mohr-images inspired this card.  It combines Lovely Wishes and Bird Banter.  I love this card.  Lovely Wishes is a fabulous set with lots of great small images.

Love Birds

I made a series of cards using Stampin Up Lovely Wishes and Bird Banter.  On this card I used a Sunny Studios die to make the V shape.  Under it is the new Stampin Up Myths and Magic Glimmer Paper.

I can't take credit for this idea.  It was inspired by a card on display at On Stage in Salt Lake City.

Distress Oxide Easter Card

Simon Says Wednesday Challenge:  Anything Goes
I was not going to get the new Distress Oxide inks.  I have my Distress Inks, my Altenew inks and my Copic markers.  ENOUGH!
Then I watched Jennifer McGuire's video.  She showed me how Distress Oxide inks would change my world.  (And she was right!)
Today two friends are coming to my house with their new Distress Oxide Inks.  We are each to teach the others a new card using our new inks.  This is my card.
I wanted to try a splatter technique on kraft paper.  When I watched Jennifer do it I thought the splats would make perfect brown Easter eggs.  And they did!
The inks do blend beautifully.  Flick on a little water (maybe some Perfect Pearls) and a background is created just like that.
The eggs are die cut from a new set by Newton's Nook.  The rabbit by Peachy Keen has been in my stash for a long time.  The sentiment (grammatically incorrect) is from Cracker Box.
